OPERATING INSTRUCTION
“Installation & Set-Up”
Setting up your Magic Globe aquarium is easy with following simple step by step instructions and procedures. IMPORTANT: Take extra safety measures whenever handling electrical appliances near water or heat sources to avoid bodily injuries and accidents.
1. Remove plastic wrapping from Active Carbon Pack and rinse it thoroughly with water. Place Active Carbon Pack securely in the gap between the water power pump and the inlet of water catch basin.
2. Remove the Water Power Pump seal. Gently pour water into the base opening until the Water Power Pump is totally submerged in the water.
3. While supporting the globe aquarium with one hand, press down firmly the connector of the water hose into the Water Power Pump.
4. Slowly pour water into catch basin until water level is ½ inch from the top of the base.
5. Plug power cord into proper electrical outlet and turn on the power switch. The water should gradually be pumped to the globe above.
6. Separate the magnets off Magnetic Aqua Brush and insert the tube into the globe opening and catch it with Magnetic Aqua Brush from outside of the globe; then bringing it up to the top of the aquarium. For best results the diaphragm pump should stay above the water level during the pumping process.
7. Slowly add water into the catch basin and simultaneously pump air out from the globe. The water should gradually rise and fill up the globe.
8. Separate external Magnetic Aqua Brush and remove the Magnetic Tube from the aquarium.
9. Use the handle of fish net as a tong and push the Artificial Plant into the aquarium from the globe opening.
10. Cycle the aquarium with conditioned water before adding fish (see Fish Care section). When adding fish gently place them head first into the aquarium from the globe opening.
11. Place strainer into aquarium opening.
12. Wait for 24 hours before feeding the fish from the globe opening. (Note: feed only once a day and each time only what fish can consume in 5 minutes).
Special Notice: DO NOT exceed water level of ½ inch from the top of the catch basin at any time when adding water to the aquarium to prevent overflows
“Tank Maintenance”
* Separate the magnets of the magnetic air tube (Aqua Brush) and insert the tube into globe from the outlet drain. Use the separate magnet piece to catch the air tube from outside of and start cleaning
* To clean the fountain drain outlet. First, remove the strainer. Second, insert the bend brush stick to start cleaning.
* Never pull on the power cord connected to ceramic base to prevent water leakage and electrical hazards.
* Do not place the aquarium directly under the sunlight.
* Always use conditioned water when filling up the aquarium. Small bubbles might present inside the tank when adding water to the globe. If this should happen simply use the magnetic tube brush to clear up the bubbles or the bubbles will clear up themselves after the fish is put in. It is recommended to place 2-6 fish inside the aquarium depending on the size of the fish.
* Change charcoal pack and clean the filter sponge periodically to keep the water clean.
* Minimal food feeding is recommended to eliminate unconsumed food to pile up and pollute water quality. (See Fish Care instruction).
Don't hesitate to ask your local fish supplier or a local aquarium hobbyist group any questions you may have about your aquarium or the animals in it.
